I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for helping me change my life. The programs that you offer, the people you employ, the attitudes of those employees and the information that you provide all together make a powerful tool to help individuals do the work that must be done to live a healthy life.

When I came to Austin Wellness in February of 2008, I look like a typical American- not morbidly obese nor yet suffering from a debilitating disease. I was overweight and had some small health or medical issues. I refused to see that all of my issues were connected, or that I had the power to remedy all of them. I do, and now I am.

I didn't run, and thought that I couldn’t. I was often tired but wrote that off to having a six month old child. I suffered migraines and cold sores, but thought that I would just have to live with them. I had even begun to have seasonal allergies, although I had never had them in all my previous life. That, too, I wrote off to a natural consequence of living in Central Texas. I not only run, now, but have competed in a 5K and am in a daily training program for a triathlon. I am rarely tired, especially after a work out, even though I now have a 14 month old, work two jobs and am taking college courses. I haven’t had a single migraine or cold sore in 8 months and have seen a gradual reduction in my allergy symptoms to the point where I have been symptom free for over two months.

Each part of the premier weight loss program takes a piece of the puzzle, and solves it. And while I feel that if I had done only one part of the program that I would have felt better, it was the combination of all parts that put me on my current path of good health and energy. I know that avoiding the foods to which I had sensitivity and switching to less processed, organic foods was a huge component. However, I wouldn’t be training for a triathlon today if AWC hadn’t required an hour’s worth of daily exercise.
